Into the light (Annika Petterson) - CODA museum, Apeldoorn

'Into the light' is a physical representation of a halo, 

a ray of light that one can wear and choose to put closest to the soul. 

It can be seen as a physical memento mori 

and as a reminder of the glistening light on the other side.
Material: aluminium, iron.

The piece (jade) is composed by two distinct parts that have been fragmented. 

The pendant weighs 21 grams and the other part is what has remained.
